Not sure...

I began this blog with the idea that I'd share a lot of poetry. But I'm new to this blogging thing and I'm unsure that it's a safe way to share my poetry. So I've removed the few that I've shared. If anyone is out there reading my blog. I'd enjoy your thoughts and advice about sharing your personal information and valuable writing. I mean, there's no way to protect things... right?

i think it may likely come down to two things...at least for me

1. God's direction. for me, it was abundantly made clear to me that God sought for me to start writing my poetry, and then to share it eventually. so i think God's direction in our lives and what He is doing is important...

2. look for the comments and reactions and people who are visiting and reading your poetry. in the blogosphere, this can sometimes shut you down...

3. surrender. yeah, there is probably no way to 'protect' your writings...and it is not obligatory to share them either. when i read other writers blogs (usually non-poetry) they merely give tastes and samples of their materials...which takes me back to #1 above...what is God doing with you, and what is your sense of His direction.

anyway, i hope you do share, as i - personally - am always ready to read and enter the words and life of another poet.
